The Technical and Operations unit at APA-IUTcert is divided into three teams with respect to their mission of providing separate services:
Analysis team:Based on experienced experts,APA-IUTcert is capable and ready to analyze various security threats. Analysis services divides to four main analysis tasks (Vulnerability analysis,Artifact analysis,Incident analysis and Alert generation).
Evaluation team:Evaluating cyber security needs mature methodologies and experience. This service group is done in order to give report of present security state and promotion suggestions. Evaluation services are divided into three groups:Infrastructure evaluation,Penetration test and Security scanning.
Operation team:Operational services divides into two main groups. Incident handling and vulnerability handling. Incident handling involves receiving,triage and respond to incident reports. Besides that vulnerability handling involves receiving information and reports about hardware and software vulnerabilities. Next step is analyzing their origins,operation and effects. The last step is to develop strategies for diagnosing and repairing the vulnerabilities.
